Our good friend Boubouille at MMO Champion tipped us off to
some of the loot items he expects to come out of the Sunwell. He doesn't say a source on these, but the guy knows his upcoming items, so
here they are for your viewing pleasure. Plus, even if they don't actually turn out to be real, it'll still be fun drooling over them. Look at that Soul Render sword! And the Vial of the Sunwell trinket!
Hot stuff. Of course, the Sunwell isn't like Zul'Aman-- it's the new endgame. So if you haven't seen Illidan yet, and think Mount Hyjal is that level in the old RTS game, odds are you won't be carrying these around anytime soon. But it is cool to know that if this stuff is real, we'll
see some records broken in
patch 2.4.

I am sorry but they are fake, Never in the History of WoW have a untested, and Non-Public Patch been viewable.
Sure there were some Slips back in the day before TBC and Even Patch 2.1
But I am sorry NO ONE that works for Blizz or otherwise would ever jeopardize there job.
Let alone Slip and release over 15 Weapons....
All Non-Public PTR's are 100% Monitored for ALL actions
and the only place you can play them is at Blizz HQ under supervision by the Game Dev.
So sorry....
Wait til it hits the Public PTR and decide than :)

"pretty phat" is redundant
JPN Jan 22nd 2008 12:43PM
Not at all.
I wonder about that trinket, it looks pretty involved for just a trinket, plus I can't see how someone would know how much "Holy Energy" is accumulated. Also, would Holy Energy be capitalized? That all seems pretty un-Blizzard-like, but if it's real then it's pretty cool.
Lucas Jan 22nd 2008 1:02PM
The trinket seems like it could be really Imba (Charging it up before hand then just drinking up to full mana).
They'll probably show numbers on it for the amount of holy energy (Maybe it'll have other uses for the gear in this place?)
Adam Jan 22nd 2008 1:52PM
How that trinket would probably work is that it would give you a buff called "Holy Energy" that stacks up to 20 times (2000 holy energy) and when you "use" the trinket, that buff is consumed and the heal is done.
superfrank Jan 23rd 2008 10:43AM
the trinket sounds similar to the blood elf racial
Ray Jan 22nd 2008 1:55PM
The Vial Of The Sunwell trinket seems a little to OP to be in the game. However, it's real I am getting that sucker!
ninjasuperspy Jan 22nd 2008 12:43PM
Whoa! Here's hoping the Terrace Loot will be half as incredible. I could use some healer stuff with gem slots.
Orno Jan 22nd 2008 12:55PM
looked at the melee weapons, not one axe =/ not even a fist weapon =( these are so fake. If you could see the tooltip we'd be seeing what the items looked like by now.
Lucas Jan 22nd 2008 1:06PM
Yeah, they wouldn't completely shut out enhancement shamans. Just _Almost_ completely.
Definitely.

RTFA - they're obviously going to have more loot available...
Ryan Jan 22nd 2008 12:55PM
These are old and confirmed as fake.
Richard Jan 22nd 2008 1:34PM
Confirmed by whom?
icer Jan 22nd 2008 2:06PM
it's not fake loot but it was datamined from the PRT by someone i'm assuming from MMOChampion, in one of the post Boubouille said to someone "Early test versions for the grammar/spelling errors (I also had to rewrite all the tooltips to clean them and probably added a few errors by myself), original screenshot has been posted a few days ago if you want to check it (and you can actually remove the game in the background of item tooltips pretty easily)."
Ryan Jan 22nd 2008 2:19PM
Actually, it was MMO Champion that decried them as fake.
Saiforune Jan 22nd 2008 2:34PM
Mmo-champion had these posted on their website a few weeks ago, this is old news and since they said they were fake that time, there's no reason to even talk about them. I personally label this topic as Fail.
Pzychotix Jan 22nd 2008 3:10PM
Read the article. BB goes back on his word and says that they're in fact, not fake. MMO-Champion posted them first, then said it was fake, then said it isn't. Got it?
This isn't slashdot folks.

Worldofraids has a supposed 2.4 patchnotes on its forums.. looked somewhat believeable to me
tq Jan 22nd 2008 3:53PM
worldofraids.com confirmed fake
Pzychotix Jan 22nd 2008 5:35PM
Wasn't "Confirmed" or anything there. It was just slapped as "fake" by WoR on instinct.
