Free character migration on EU realms

From: Crushridge, Grim Batol, Outland, and Stormscale
To: Burning Steppes, Jadenar, and Vek'nilash

Color me a little jealous-- despite all the alts I have on all those different servers, not one has ever been offered a free transfer. Then again, I've never really had a reason to switch servers, so I guess it all evens out. But if you've been having queue trouble on any of the realms above and nothing to tie you down, congrats-- today's your lucky day.

On the topic of free character moves. I really wish Blizz would do more than just post on the forums to alert the server they have a free move available. Why not send an in game mail to everyone on the server or something?
I say this because I found out about Kel'Thuzad's free move on sunday, my roomate transfered in the morning on monday, then when I got home from work it was already closed. So now im looking at 125 bucks to get my main and alts over to the new server.
Why they closed it in the middle of the day I have no idea. There is still 300+ person queues at peak times on KT. When I logged on to ask in general if the move had closed, most people didnt even know about it! I petitioned a gm to see if I could find out but after 3 hours of waiting I canceled it.
