Around Azeroth: Bad moon rising
Reader Elyasa of Auchindoun (the European server, not the unpopular Outland instances) snapped this foreboding shot in the Black Temple. Her raiding guild, Shine, was heading for Supremus when she looked up and saw this omen in the sky. She didn't mention how the boss fight went, but from the looks of it, the dragons didn't go hungry that night...

fun fact is that the "moon" in the picture actually is azeroth seen from outland!

Woah. Hold the phone, I just realized something. Can someone explain "why" you can see Azeroth from here? A ripple in the twisting nether or something? You can't see Outland from Azeroth, and you can't see Azeroth from Outland anywhere else. I always thought that Outland was light-years away from Azeroth.

Outland is essentially a floating island in the Twisting Nether. It's clearly not an actual planet anymore, which is why you can see a bunch of different planets, moons, stars, and whatnot from different places. The whole thing is completely chaotic.
