Just a friendly reminder for those of you who have Friendly or better reputation with the Consortium that it's that time of the month again to collect your gems. I just got back from my run to Nagrand to hit up Mr. Swirlybandages for my bag. I was particularly excited because I had just hit Honored with that faction. And you know what I got? An Azure Moonstone and a Shadow Draenite. Uh...okay. I guess I'll try not to spend the 40s I'm gonna get for these on the AH all in one place.

i had the exact same experience. ground up some zaxxis insignia to be honored before month's end, and i got 2g worth of gems. /lame

It was 11pm on the 31st when I realized I'd forgotten to get my bag for the month (was hoping to get to exalted before month end), ran to nagrand, and my revered bag o rocks had a talasite and some junk gems, not too bad, now I just have to remember there's only 29 days this month.

It's been my experience that the rewards haven't been commeasurate with rep level - I have 3 toons getting gems (Friendly, Exalted, and Honored/Revered) and several times the Friendly has received even better / more gems than the Exalted.
IMO, the NUMBER of gems should be based on rep level (always 2, 3, or 4) with each gem randomly either green or blue. Otherwise, all those ogres died in vain.

My Paladin(revered) got 4 green gems and a blue. My druid (honored) got a couple of green gems.

I've been exalted with them for awhile. Some months I get 2g in gems and other months its 150g. Its free money, not going to complain.

Yeah it's really annoying how the bag contents are randomly determined. I've had my honored toon recieve bags with more gems than my exalted toon multiple times. Including the honored getting a rare quality gem and 3 uncommon while my exalted recieves only 3 uncommon gems. They could do a lot better in their radom generation algorithm...

I feel I've been swindled the last few months, I've only got 1 or 2 blue gems, and I'm exalted.
No wonder the Consortium have trouble with turncoats and infighting, they're cheap b*stards!

I got a Delicate Living Ruby, a Noble Topaz, and a Star of Elune. Plus a green or two. Lucky month for me.

Picked up a living ruby and 4 commons on my reverred toon, picked up a noble topaz and 2 others on my honored toon. A guidie picked up 2 nightseyes on one toon. So it was good.

Easy, easy, easy to get to exalted with these guys. I have two seventies at exalted. Usually I get at least five blue quality gems between them. By next month I will have another at exalted. Woot!
