I often wonder if these people having their accounts stolen is from a keylogger or from social engineering. Take for example the rash of xbox live accounts being stolen. These people couldn't use a keylogger as the Xbox 360 isn't capable of running unsigned code. Not to say that computers aren't vulnerable to keyloggers targeting WoW but it could only take a call or e-mail to Blizzard to convince a person who doesn't know you that, that person is you. Then the password gets reset and bam the hacker has the password. There's no easy fix for computer security and it's a damn shame that there's an upswing in id theft even in a mmo it's still pretty shitty to have your security compromised.
