I tried to get into the CCG, but when they put out a new set every three months (Which they even said they wouldn't do, then did anyways.) I would love to pick these up.
I was an old school Magic player. Mage Knight. VS. Overpower. Recharge. Duel Masters. Heroclix.
I've played all of them and been a judge for most of them. I'd love to find a game I could get back into. But If I don't feel I can collect a set with my modest salary before they put more and more sets out, I won't even bother to start.
And if a local playing community builds, that would make it even better.

That's why non-collectible games are best. To get the most out of collectible games you have to be willing to dump loads of cash every time a new expansion comes out.
