2.4 may herald new bag types

World of Raids has been releasing information by the bucket loads, and one intriguing little morsel has caught our eye: The addition of four new bag types, marked "Leatherworking Supplies," "Soulbound Equipment," "Vanity Pets," and a fourth one simply marked "Unused." Almost any vanity pet fanatic will tell you that one of the hardest things to do is deciding what to delete to make room for your newest little friend, or which pet to take out of the bank and parade about when heading out to quest, grind, or raid. The idea of making vanity pets easier to store and carry has been one that's been a perennial topic of the suggestion boards and an issue dear to the hearts of every pet fanatic who's set up elaborate trade agreements with the other faction or spent countless hours in Zangarmarsh just to make sure they got ALL the vanity pets possible, and it looks as if Blizzard has finally answered their prayers.
The leatherworking supplies bag is a bit harder to pin down. We already have a leatherworking bag category, so this may be simply a shuffling of data.
As far as a soulbound items bag goes, if it simply allows any type of soulbound item or gear, and comes in sizes greater than the current 18 slot standard, this could be great salvation for any class who carries around an extra set of gear for various situations, be they a Druid with tank, DPS, and healing sets, or a raider with various resist sets.
Of course, we can't say for sure yet if these new categories will be used right away for Sunwell loot or recipes, or whether they're simply in reserve for possible future use, but the prospect of more bag space has this druid drooling.

Omg... you have got to be kidding me... I've been yearning for this type of bag for ages, and finally, after I had to clear space in my bank by disenchanting my beloved full T4 and matching belt, bracers and boots... they might possibly be coming out next patch.
Definitely a good possible change, better late than never, but I'll never be getting that T4 again. =(

I'm guessing that the "leatherworking supplies" bag is just code to replace the old leatherworking bag, so that they can hold Shadow Oil.

I reallllly hope this is coming in 2.4. I've had to buy full 18-slot bags for my bank and send all my non-souldbound stuff to my bank alt, and I'm still having problems finding enough space for everything!
Darn my druidic nature and love for minipets!

Wow this is funny consdiering I just posted on the forums this week asking for a garbage bag that could store gray items and be thrown out with them.

Here's hoping the minipet bag is like the key chain, in other words, it doesn't take up any real space, but is something you carry around with you automatically.

Ditto on the Vanity Pet Keychain thing. I'd like to take my Mini-diablo out of my bank. I won't be upset if it doesn't work that way. And that is because the "Soulbound Gear Bag" has me way too giddy.

They could call it a "leash" or something. I've thought the same thing, for that matter what pet collector hasn't? Hopefully it'd expand just like the key ring, if they go that direction.

Can't go wrong with more inventory.

I still want to be able to put my ammo pouch inside another bag and still have it count as a storage for ammo. I drool when I play my alts and see all the space they have because they don't have to use a spot for ammo.
One 50-slot bag. Make it a quest with 18 steps including taking letters to 8 different people and make me grind 25 basilisks in Skald and then find a LW who can turn the hide scraps into finished leather. I'd do that. I really would, for a 50 slot bag. Okay, I'll quit groveling now.

Personally I would like to see a say 30 slot bag for quest items...... Whenever I am low on space, it is usually because I am doing like 4-5 drop quests at the same time. (and I loot everything, because I skin, and trash still sells to vendors).

With the changes to GCD and spell haste with 2.4 I will now have 3 sets of gear just for healing, not to mention the tank set and grind sets that I have. They would need a REALLY big soulbound items bag in order for me to carry everything with me hehe.

Woot, pet bags! Also, a bag that'd let me carry all my tanking and DPS gear without filling up 2 of my existing bag spaces would be great. Warriors collect an unbelievable amount of gear, 2 sets of plate, a few choice necklaces, and a crate of weapons for various uses. Sometimes it makes me envy my hunter's somewhat nerfed carrying capacity. I always wished that they'd give us bags the size of the gear crates that they use in PTRs, especially considering how much junk they like to toss into our bags on a regular basis.

A tackle box for fishing would be nice. You catch so many different types in a fishing trip, and each takes up a slot--along with your pole, lures, special bait, etc.

Don't get me started... I would cut off someone's (not mine mind you) left toe for a soulbound bag in the range of 22-26 slots! I also love the idea of a tacklebox for the fishermen (and women) out there! And how about some love for us Shaman out there that have to carry around a bunch of totems and reagents?

I have one bag on me, and two 18 slots bags in the bank all filled with soulbound gear, a bigger bag to help hold all that would be a godsend.
A bag for pets after the earlier is freed up would be wonderful too
