Omen meet Orgrimmar, Orgrimmar meet Omen

I've tried this with a few friends, and the trick is to keep Omen moving along with as many movement-impairing effects up on him as possible. We had a mage there slinging Frostbolts at him, a shaman shocking him with Frost Shock, and of course a hunter laying down his Concussive Shots and Frost Traps. I was there on my warrior issuing the occasional Taunt just in case one of the DPS made a mistake and got too close (this was never a problem).
After a while, I think it took us about 30 minutes (although we did take our dear time), we got him down to the gates of Orgrimmar. For some reason the Orgrimmar guards didn't like us to well. It might have been because we brought this gigantic dog to their doorsteps, or because we were Alliance and they thought we might grab our swords and fight the Horde. Either way, we high tailed it out to a safe distance and let them take care Omen for us.
A fun adventure had by all! Many thanks to Zentax on the Frostmourne US server, who took the picture at the top of the post when someone kited Omen on his server. And if you've got a couple minutes, check out this neat YouTube video we covered last year of him being kited around.
I've heard that some classes can kite him down to Orgrimmar by themselves, though I haven't seen anyone doing it just yet. Anyone else heard this? What are your experiences kiting Omen half way across the western kingdom?

haha someone should try to kite him to ratchet and see if you can get him to follow you on to the boat to booty bay and kite him to Stormwind. i doubt he will get on the zepp cuz he may not go thru the zepp tower.

I don't think you could kite him to SW because I don't think he'll zone when the boat does. But you could probably kite him to Darnassus (there's no zone effect on the boat to Darn) if you were willing to keep him tanked on the boat.

My banker on Bloodscalp caught sight of Omen every time he logged in. Died a couple times from the Starshards =(

Lawl--by chance were you in the bank or AH when they dragged him in there? That was hilarious (sorry for the repair bill :( ) --running into the AH and seeing all the dead bodies laying on the floor by the AH people.

A single resto druid using Faerie Fire can kite him easy. We ran him into Org a couple times and once through XR to clean out the Chuck Norris fans on Barthilas last night.
Tonight we plan to see Omen battle Thrall in a real 2 bosses enter 1 boss leaves type scenario.

A druid kited him to Orgrimmar on skullcrusher EU.
We chased along behind with a ragtag group of alliance, and many of us subsqeuently got credit for the kill by running like mad into Orgrimmar.
I even had the pleasure of bubblehearthing out in front of 40+ horde. Amazed no-one popped my bubble, but it was immensely fun.

I was with a horde group of 10 and kited Omen to Ogrammir We did this on Illiaden US and he crashed the server after he killed people in the bank and AH. i have about 4 screen shots of the carnage.

RE Darn: Unfortunately you could only get him to the village. To actually get to Darn there's the zone effect

I summoned Omen on Senjin last week, not realizing that he took about 40 people to kill (I was only lvl 57) ... nevertheless, my time was not wasted because a nightelf and a few others goaded him into walking alllll the way to Orgrimmar! I followed the whole way (even into the city) until a guard found and killed me. Fun times all around!
