We covered the Rocket Mount announcement a earlier last month. However with the 2.4 patch notes released last night, and the test client now downloadable, we've been able to do some digging around. The mpq files have been kind to us and have given us this great animation of my warrior ridding the newest addition to the loot available from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, the Rocket Mount.
I'm sure everyone will want one of these. My guess is that it'll be even more in demand than the Spectral Tiger Mount. After all, who just can't resist going "yeehaw!" when you see this?
The mount should be rocket for goblins and gyrocopter for gnomes, that would be better. Also, take away the stupid alliance/horde thing, it should be Goblin/Gnome Engineer, utilizing our awesome possum mounts to do aerial squadron attacks! The other professions would be gear/consumable/enchant vendors for us.
That thing looks pimp, and I AM an engineer. I'd have a hard time choosing if I wanted to get the mount or if selling it for enough cash to buy an actual car would be a better choice.
I did manage to run into somebody with the Spectral Tiger in WSG the other day. I have to say it looked pretty cool.
You know what...I don't want to have to buy some card game crap just to get this coolness. You know what...only a very small percentage of people actually want to play your card game. F>>> Blizzard. What a scam! F>>> Blizzard! I'm considering taking my money elsewhere. Lots of good competition coming down the road. F>>> Blizzard! ARRHHHGGGG!!!!!
