New and improved Trade Chat spam

You can apparently link quests and spells in select channels now. This doesn't work in General or custom channels(without a mod of some sort) but it does work in party chat, raid chat, tells, the Trade channel, guild chat, and things like that. Basically, if you can link items in the channel, you can now link spells and quests.
The quest link is pretty neat, it gives a brief description of the quest you're linking and a list of its requirements. The color of the text also reflects what level the quest is. Grey quests will have grey links, red quests will have red links. Shiny!
The spell links are pretty simple, not much to them. Light blue links, and simply includes the spell's tooltip. Not as useful as quest links, but that doesn't mean it isn't shiny!

Damn, this if gonna make Trade even worse. Enabling at least quest links in the General channel seems like common sense to me. And while we're at it, can we get a worldwide, or at least citywide, General channel and get these yahoos out of Trade, please?

Does this show on the tooltip whether the quest has been completed? Like if I click on "The Defias Brotherhood," that quest is grey and should be marked as completed for me, since I've already done it.

Blizz needs to revise their whole chat paradigm. As it is, everyone on my server uses "Trade" as the defacto global chat channel precisely because you can link stuff through it and because it works between the cities. All of which is fine except how all the trading is starting to get lost in the noise.

Seriously, does anyone remember the global Looking For Group channel? That used to be just like Trade is now with even less "intended purpose" going on.
And, to be fair, even in those days, Trade was still the same enchanters begging for clients and people emptying random items from their inventory they didn't know how much were worth.

A. add more to the ignore list
B. Allow you to ignore people for a session (ie, while you're logged in)
C. allow 48 hour bans to Trade channel for those wasting everyone else's time with Barren's chat there.
