I agree has anyone gone back to check to see if these dailies are still available after the phase is complete? I dont see much of a point of increasing the daily cap if you cant realisticly reach that cap.

They are, the name of the quest just changes. There was an article from worldofraids or similar that was linked from wowinsider last week IIRC.
