The PvP Gear is 'welfare' because it's much much cheaper / easier to get and requires minimal participation or skill. Period. You cause use S3 gear to clear T5 Content ... You can not use T5 Gear to beat S3 Teams. That *is* one of the problems.PvP Gear is a literally a "time = guaranteed gear" scenario. This weekend, many people earned 30k worth honor for going into AV and baby sitting bunkers / towers while watching their favorite movies. Try watching a movie during a Vashj attempt and see how that works out. Also, the whole "guild / alt" thing is myth for anything past Kara. Trying to get "new guildies" attuned for BT/MH is a pain in the butt on sooooooo many levels, that trying to do the same with Alts? OMG, you have no clue ... S1 and Arena gear = welfare epics ... period.

I thought they removed the BT attunement? Can't guilds now take their alts straight in and get "welfare" epics from the first few bosses? You might not be able to succeed in PvP with PvE epics now, but it didn't used to be like that... back in the day, it was the raiders all kitted out in purples who used to dominate PvP, using gear instead of skill, and they believed it was their god-given right to do so. Now that PvP has comparable equipment we are supposed to feel sorry for the raiders? Give me a break.
