Also, for low level toons, the XP from simply 'discovering' Moonglade and Nighthaven can be significant. Throw some fireworks in one of the major cities, and then accept the quest to speak to Valdarr in Nighthaven. When you complete it you should get 1250XP, which is a huge chunk of one level.

From jumping around the major cities, you can easily collect 6 Ancestor coins, which can be traded for some decent mana/health regen dumplings as well.
