Here is the world through the eyes on an enhancement shammie that plays resto when the guild desperately needs him too.My class has become a frustration of the highest degree. Not because of constant nerfs, but because of "consistancy"Blizzard's devs have none. Prior to TBC there were 3 ways to PVP. CC and kill, survive (and kill) or Burst kill. Mage: 3 Warlock: 1Warrior: 2,3 Rogue: 1,3Priest: 2 Druids: 2Paladin: 2 Hunter: (1),3Shaman, 2,3Now with BC we have the following ways to kill people.CC and kill, survive and kill. They want bursting someone down to not happen because "It is not fun to just get instagibbed." Let's look how the stuff works nowMage: 1,2 (thanks to iceblock, numerous escapes and tricks)Warlock: 1,2 (thanks to insane health and pet)Warrior: 1,2 (intimidating shout, charges, plate, health, MS)Rogue: 1,2 (cheat death, vanish, Cloak, stunlock)Priest: (1),2 (mana drain, MC, healing through it, CC iffy)Druid: 1,2 (do we need to go there? Cyclone, lifebloom spam)Paladin: 2 (some CC, well timed it effectively ruins you)Hunter 1,2 (traps, MS shot, purge shot, rage to survive)Shaman: 2 (that's all we got, outlasting you)The funny part is that every OTHER class got stuff to make up for losing their burst potential. Shaman have now effectively be stripped of their burst damage. But there is no corresponding increase in CC to make up for it.So which is worse, being instagibbed with no chance to stop it, or watching your shaman get CCed and killed over 5-10 seconds with no way to stop it after 1 trinket, that everyone else has access to and have extra CC to just put you back in it?Now try playing that when in PVE they only want CC DPS and gear you really need requires badges. Leather gear, because you have no itemization.Oh, they also changed Ret paladins' itemization for them, after saying they wouldn't because people had bought it, as is. But they are not going back and changing enhance shaman itemization after 2.3 made all that MP5 an utter waste of points. Not consistent.Rogue mace spec has a 6% chance to stun with 5 pts. Not consistent.List goes on.
