only with a game like world of warcraft could people willing to spend 20+ hours a week could be considered 'casual'.

Heartily agree, I think we need to coin the term 'moderate' for this. You know, those people who play excessively, but at the same time exhibit multiple traits strongly considered 'casual'.

I am a casual player. Probably 2 to 6 hrs/week. I have very few "epiks," but I don't go crying about it. If others have the time needed to invest in getting "epiks" then I think they deserve better gear than me. I don't understand why this is such a hot topic.

I play 4-6 hours a week and I have a bunch of epics. you don't need to play a lot to get epics.

I play maybe 3 hours a week and full epics on all my toons. Epics from instances are easy mode. Epics from BGs are hardcore.
