What bugs me about the guild bank is not the officeres taking gold, I know what it's going for, but the non-contributors asking for things from it. Maybe 10 people out of 30 in my guild contribute, but those other 20, boy do they want.

We're in a period of open recruitment right now, both to build a second Kara group and make the push to ZA, as well as lower-levels so our alts have more people to do SM and ZF with.So yesterday, new recruit, who I'll call "Joe" comes on guild chat ..."WTF! Where'd 1000g go??""What do you mean?""There was 1000g in the guild bank and now it's gone!""We bought the fourth bank tab""But I needed that gold to buy my flying mount!!"Much laughter ensued, followed by Joe complaining about how he didn't even have access to the fourth tab (currently, new recruits can see, but not access, only the first tab, members can access the first two tabs, vets can access first three tabs, and the guild leader is the only one with access to the fourth tab).

@4We had some guy join(we do two week trial periods for recruits). Immediately, he asked for one of the items in the guild bank. It was an epic item of some value, and while we didn't know of any current members that needed it right then, there might be a need in the future. We told them they would need to wait for a little while. Well, in less than 10 minutes they /gquit telling us they would go to a guild that helped out their members. Some people...
