PTRs down for new build

About three hours ago, Hortus announced that the patch 2.4 PTR would be going down for four to six hours to apply a new build. So they ought to be down for another one to three hours. In the mean time, we all get a break from beta-testing the patch to get some food, watch a movie, do some homework or -- let's be honest -- gripe about the patch.What will this new build contain? Well, since they haven't updated the PTR patch notes yet, we can't be certain, but it would be reasonable to guess they'd be fixing two outstanding bugs: huge stats and huge NPCs. Other than that, we'll have to wait and see what Blizz brings us.

The stats thing is mind boggling... there was some mage attacking SMC on the PvE PTR server. He was wearing that new rare PvP set, so I figured 'hey, too easy'. I attack him with a Judgement of Righteousness + auto-crit Holy Shock burst combo (JoR also crit, for about ~4k damage all up) - and his life didn't even move. He then proceeded to one shot me with an Ice Lance for 12k non-crit.
Wtb mages with that kind of dps in raids!

i've had my ice lance crit for 2.5k on live servers

i was killed by a lvl 20 in IF. the orc was tanking every single guard in IF at the time, and killed me while taking on 20+ guards.
i then figured out the bug.... :D
