As a parent of a 10-year-old who plays WoW occasionally, I think this is great. I do have some concerns with a 10-year-old up until midnight, even on a weekend, but if he's maintaining grades, getting outside into the real world and doing things with friends, and otherwise well-adjusted, I don't see the harm. There are some life lessons to be learned from WoW, particularly from raiding. DKP systems and money/time management, for starters. And just generally working as a team and getting along with different personalities. Sounds like his parents have a pretty good perspective on things and that he's well supervised while playing. 'Grats.
