Oskar managed to pack the video with all sorts of exciting elements, like an overbearing father, a lost love, and an epic battle. So far, the audience is asking for it to be made into a longer film! Do you think that he should develop the storyline further?

I've seen worse. The audio changes abruptly before the "We meet again", should have carried an ambient track over. The sudden silence doesn't hold an ominous mood of expectation, if that was what you were going for. If you want that, make it a shorter clip and end the song abruptly, need a good outtro effect on the audio too for that.
Very emo. Kids are into that wussy crap these days. I'm an old metal/rivet head, I just don't get why crying and being a emotional is so in vogue.
Didn't care about the characters at all. Were we supposed to give a crap about the chic who is offed just because she sits beside the hero? There was a pretty good machima which got close to making me care for a stiffly animated toon through flashbacks. It was emo too, but I didn't hate on it.
I'd give this a 3/10....but it's your first attempt. You've got limited actor control and it appears you wanted to throw something short out there. Definitely not bad. Keep it up!

I quite literally LOVED it.
But I "do" have one little critique to share.
The blade going into the demon, sort of kind of not the best, it was more like "Muahaha, I have hit you with the tip of my blade, you shall fall!"
But besides that, I thought the story and VA was great.

I actually thought this was very good, especially for a first attempt, Definately make a longer one, maybe a lil bit more "plot" on 'Mu'ru' ( you hinted it there, maybe a lil more elaboration).
The Music suited it especially the 3rd track. But like what Censorman said a lil bit more editing in terms of constructing the audio, but i would say definately a thumbs up, keep it up!

I definitely think the author should make more and continue to improve on his editting skills. Everyone is a critic, but not many actually try their hand at really creating something special. Don't be deterred by nay-sayers, create and share.
To the author: A chimp can slap "3/10" or "1/5" on something. You are always better than your critics, don't let them hold you back.

I have a sure feeling he used the blindfolds because of Modelviewer's eyelid bug. Here is where five minutes of reading a forum comes in, and I can only repeat this to about 75% of Machinima makers these days: there is a way around this, and it involves nothing but unchecking a little box. Seriously.
Now that that pet peeve is out: It feels a lot like a trailer to me. You get shown tiny glimpses that leave you curious as to what is really going on. He should make more out of it.
