WoW Moviewatch: Black Angel

Moo Money is off to Austin to cover the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference. Until she is done schmoozing the latest in Machinima talent, I'll be covering WoW Moviewatch for the next day or two. One of the first things I've found is this music video using "Cry Little Sister" from "The Lost Boys" soundtrack.
Black Angel tells the story of a dark angel summoned to wreak havoc, but is imprisoned. Now he seeks the help of his sister, an angel of light. Creative use of the WoW Model Viewer, an evocative song and a strong narrative make for a compelling vid.

The second I saw the title, I thought, "Hmm, I smell the stench of BElves in this title."

Very well done. Good cinematics, if a bit slow in places, and well timed on the music. It's rare these days that lyrics of a song are used to help telling such a direct story without just 'retelling' the song.

Bravo! That was a fantastic use of the song as a story telling device, I hope to see much more from this film maker!

Remind me in the future to let these videos load a while before I watch them. The "chargement" message popping up every 15 seconds ruins the video.
