Hello anonymous and others out there.
Indeed, I do have concern for the under 18 crowd. That is why I took care when writing this article. I took the following steps to insure that no adult content was placed on the front page of the site:
- The word "whore" or any permutation of it does not appear above the break.
- The only word that hints at mature subject mater is the word "adult". I have used this word before too, in an article I wrote about adult's only servers.
- There is no mention of what the article is about above the break.
- I do not provide links to the adult website
- I use a generic picture representing the Village Voice
- The opening paragraphs were made as dull and 'scientific' as possible. There are no flashy images or content as is located on the main page for the Village Voice.
This story was covered by a major national publication, concerns World of Warcraft, and deserved to be presented in a delicate manner, which I feel was accomplished.
