Machinimist Nyhm of Hard Like Heroic and Ni Hao fame is at again. This time he mashes together a 9 year old Offspring song with the lore of the Draenei to explain why those blue skinned Alliance freaks are always on the run. Bonus: Davey Jones squid face reference!

I'm sure it was pretty hard to write a catchy song to explain why dranny's are so cowardly although this was not his best its a pretty good attempt.

Let's see, they either had two choices when the time to choose came:
1. Join Sargeras, his infinite legions of soul destroying, world-wasting monsters, and with two thirds of your race, and lose your soul, and everything you've ever known.
or
2. Die a slow and horrifying death at the hands of your former kinsmen and their evil master, or, go elsewhere to somehow find help to hopefully take back your home, though it may no longer exist.
So, you see, the Draenei didn't have much choice in the matter and didn't want to become warlocks, so, they had to run. I highly doubt that any other race would have done differently.
So, despite the mutterings of the less than intelligent, discretion is indeed, the better part of valor.

The production value of his videos are fairly high, the writing is not too bad, and I'm all for doing things you enjoy, but I stopped watching these long ago when I realized that he hasn't realized he has a terrible voice for these. Reading words off a page != singing IMO.
Someone let me know when he finds a new singer, and I'll give it another chance.

I have to agree. I mean hell some of those people on the American Idol tryouts can do better than that. He needs to just start sending all the lyrics to Weird Al and have him sing them.

Is Draenei supposed to rhyme with "fly"? I always thought (in my head) that it rhymed with, like, "hay". Weird.

from what I understand, "Draw Nye" or "Drain Eye" are the accepted pronunciations. Only in this circumstance, however, does it really matter, you can call it whatever you want.
Some people in my guild say "Drainy". Do I thing its wrong? Sure. Do I care? Naw. Do they care? Prolly not.

If you listen to the Draenei's intro video, you can clearly hear the guy say Drae (rhymes with yeah) nei (rhymes with eye).

I watched it in silence and tried reading the subtitles, suffice it to say I would sooner rip off my own ears than listen to this absolute bilge :D
Also, if you are being persued across time by a depthless evil with a hatred for you that cannot be solved by genocide of a billion worlds and all the friends you may have made there running away seems a good options till you can go toe to toe with it. If thats cowardly then sign me up :)
