A pally with the right balance of mitigation (not too much mind) and spell damage (more is good) is (in MANY situations) the best tank in the game. They suffer against none-melee bosses or those with big slow hits (which is often the case with raid bosses) but for anything else Tankadin>Warrior. The frontloading aggro is godly for heroic speed runs. This is a completely non-biased view from working with decent examples of all 3 tanking classes. I have a prot pally but he's barely 70. Not quite the face-smashing ideal many folks have when they roll a pally (and the lvl 20-28ish experience of many pally players once they get their verigans fist) but close enough.
