Pretenders FTW!
Seasoned guildies know better than to autofollow me. Even if I'm not out for devilish fun, I'll wipe them off onto some tree, fence post, chasm, whatever happens to be available simply because 1) I get lost easily and 2) I don't run very well using either keyboard or mouse.
For me, the best autofollow was when a really annoying lowbie asked for a run from Thelsamar to Menethil. After aggroing all the mobs between the tunnels and then complaining that I wasn't killing them fast enough to save him, he says, when we get to the Wetlands, that he has to take out the garbage or something and I should just run him to Menethil while he does whatever. "And don't kill me!" he says before I can say, "Hey, your going afk is not part of the bargain."
I got him to Bluegill Marsh and then decided he needed to meet the murlocs. I chuckle even now when I think about running him into the middle of the camp, feigning death and then going to fish wreckage on the shore while the murlocs got him. My GL at the time gave me a bit of a lecture, but, damn, it was so worth it.
