Here in the States it's election season. Newspapers and websites are plastered with campaign information. Preliminary polling for both factions will close on March 20, 2008. Then the leaders will go head to head, vying for the leader of the World... of Warcraft. Feel free to campaign in the comments for your candidate of choice.

Who should serve as the leader of the Alliance?

Highlord Bolvar Fordragon- Currently the steward of Stormwind City, Fordragon woos his constituents with promises of increased defenses for all of their lands. He recommends increased budgets for literacy programs and library services.

King Magni Bronzebeard- The Dwarven leader promotes further exploration and expansion of alliance territories. Bronzebeard is a champion of family values and service.

High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind- Whisperwind has based her platform on environmental issues, particularly ridding the environment of undead abominations. As the leader of the Night Elf people, she promotes equal opportunity and the preservation of the emerald dream.

High Tinker Gelbin Mekkatorque – Mekkatorque is currently serving as elected leader of the gnomes. Probably the most intelligent of the hopefuls, this candidate favors science, industry, and the reclamation of Gnomergan.

Prophet Velen- This Draenei leader is a relative newcomer to the Alliance. He is a proponent of immigration and integration, particularly for his exiled brethren. Because of his relationship with the Naaru, Velen is the favored candidate religious voters.
