Yesterday we began the primary election to name a leader for the
Today we stand ready to select a leader over the entire Horde faction. Many have already begun campaigning for Thrall, possibly mistaking him for a member of the
Your Horde candidates are:
Dark Lady Sylvanas Windrunner- The Banshee Queen of the Undead, Windrunner stands out with a platform based on military excellence. This charismatic leader seeks to cleanse the lands of the Scourge and other menaces.
High Chieftan Cairne Bloodhoof- This leader rules over the Tauren forces throughout the world. If elected Chieften Bloodhoof pledges a hands-off, lassiez faire style of government.
Warchief Thrall- Thrall's candidacy is based on honor, diplomacy, and balance. He seeks peace among the lands, and buffs for Shaman of all races.
Vol'jin- Currently the leader the Darkspear Trolls. This leader is a master politician and supports medical reform... or at least medicine men.
Regent Lor'themar Theron- As leader to the most recent race of Horde peoples, Theron seeks equality among the races. Regent Theron is a proponent of the legalization and distribution of controlled substances such as Bloodthistle.
Dark Lady Sylvanas Windrunner High Chieftan Cairne Bloodhoof Warchief Thrall Vol'jin Regent Lor'themar Theron
Feel free to campaign for your candidate of choice in the comments of this post. Voting for both factions will close on March 20. We'll then be able to select a leader for all of Azeroth from the winners.

Just goes to show that the Horde know what they want and like. No wishy washy decisions like other political parties cou*alliance*gh. :)
ALL HAIL THRALL!
Blorg Mar 11th 2008 8:14AM
Thrall's already leader of the Horde. No election required.
Varkelen Mar 11th 2008 8:28AM
For the Warchief!
For the Horde!
Rihlsul Mar 11th 2008 8:35AM
Exactly!
Rabbit Mar 11th 2008 9:11AM

The only one I could see challenging Thrall would be Sylvanas, but considering her less then friendly relationship with Arthas, she might be somewhat pre-occupied very soon venturing to Northrend to lead the Horde, although I could see some that would follow such a leader. Thrall gets my vote, and If Jaina somehow gets written in as the Alliance winner for the other poll like she should, Thrall would be the logical choice for this one.

I say Thrall. There's a reason why he's the current leader of the Horde, and that's because he is a great warrior (shaman I suppose), great tactitian, and treats all everyone equally without bias. He prefers making friends to making enemies (he allied with the Trolls pretty quickly, and befriended the Tauren without a thought), while many others would kill first and ask questions later.
The only other I would say could challenge him for Best Leader is Sylvanas. Her policies are good (doing whats best for her people), but she focuses more on her race rather than all.
Derick Mar 11th 2008 1:32PM
True, but her "race" is only with the Horde out of convenience. I'm sure that as soon as Sylvanas saw a better oppourtunity somewhere else, she'd leave the Horde and take all of her followers with her. She has no loyalty to the Horde beyond what they can do for her. So I'd say she'd be a pretty terrible leader.
But Thrall better keep all that in mind too, as the entire Undead population is formidable....

Thrall... no question
Kolky Mar 11th 2008 9:06AM
I vote for Kungen! :)
Ogo2k Mar 11th 2008 9:12AM
Yeah i was also under the opinion that thrall was already leader of the horde, warchief if you will...

Thrall is the obvious choice with a track record that would put anyone to shame.
He freed his people from the tyranny of the demonblood.
Instead of waging an unecessary war against the Alliance he chose to bring his people to new lands so they could restore their civilisation in (relative) peace.
He's a peacemaker who made friends with the alliance forces in Kalimdor.
He is uniquely suited to extend an olive branch to the oppressed peoples of the alliance although their leaders would probably not have the wisdom to accept it.
The Orcish race as a whole believes in strength and honor , a healthy mind in a healthy body, while having a firm connection to nature (Thrall is a Shaman after all).
Clearly Thralls platform would be one of diplomacy and peace with the fellow good sentient beings of Azeroth while taking a firm environmental stance.
I think the wise and noble Cairne Bloodhoof would make an excellent running mate or chief advisor.
Thrall for Prez 2008...
Matdredalia Mar 11th 2008 9:14AM
Thrall has my vote, and my Hordie is a troll. Saving him in Old Hillsbrad was one of the greatest highlights of my WoW time.
doyesac Mar 11th 2008 9:41AM
And remember how he one-shot that Alliance armorer guy, right after you let him out of jail in OHB? Thrall is one bad motherf---er.
But he's all sensitive when he gets around that Taretha chick. And we was all buddy-buddy with Jaina...
So maybe Thrall has flip-flopped on the Human issue! How could we ever vote in a flip-flopper!
Hellskreamer Mar 11th 2008 11:12AM
I voted for Thrall and I'm a Blood Elf. I don't even know how you could pick anyone else. He's by far the strongest and best ruler in all Azeroth, bar none.
Flavio Mar 11th 2008 9:36AM
SAURFANG!! Kiss my Axe!! : )
ScytheNoire Mar 11th 2008 9:34AM
dumb poll, since Thrall is already the leader of the Horde.
now the Alliance, who the hell knows who's in charge over there.
Damon Mar 11th 2008 9:34AM
Thraaaal! Really, i suppose i should write a longer comment, but do i really need to say more? To say the horde respects him is like saying the sun is hot.
