@chris: According to your second example the expertise-talent must be awesome, because it allows you to hit a mob 110% of your attacks. I can not imagine how strange it has to look if you actually hit a mob 10% more than you are.... well hitting it.:-)Maybe you should lower the hit percentage to 45 %.

To be honest I didn't take the second example seriously at all. I can't imagine the sort of itemisation required to have both hit and expertise capped. I actually laughed that the example features a "more realistic" 30% crit, when the other figures are unattainable.As with most things, there is an effect of diminishing returns. More expertise means more damage only if you can maintain enough attack power to do any damage. If you have to replace too much AP to get the expertise, your DPS will suffer.
