Blizzard is at it again and so are we! We'll be live blogging the stress test event part deux tonight, on the scene with both Alliance and Horde characters. Be sure to give a /wave to any "Insider" you see walking around. We'll be trying to stay where the action is – be it in arena's attempting to best our own 8-1 record, or watching the GMs hand out more 'phat lewts'.Right now the server is up and running, quite smoothly actually. Keep an eye out here and we'll keep you updated with the latest!

5:34 p.m. PST - Time to queue for the first match!
5:40 p.m. PST - Alex here! Just hopped over to the Alliance side on "Insideralexa." Hello to everyone that was hanging out with me on the Horde, it was fun! But the Alliance needs some love, too. If you see me, come hang out! Currently in Ironforge.
6:05 p.m. PST - @Rogues who keep me stun locked for the entire fight: I <3 you.
6:15 p.m. PST - Congrats to After for defeating Bornakk in a duel.
6:16 p.m. PST - Apparently GM Manhatten is arenaing as a warlock, wielding Thunderfury and a bouquet of roses. Nerf.
6:27 p.m. PST - Again, nerf cyclone. WTB more nerfs, 5000g.
6:37 p.m. PST - Nice game, Kusangi. =)
6:44 p.m. PST - Woot! Team WoW Insider wins at least one!
7:03 p.m. PST - Manda here - Zach is heading off now, and I too would like to buy nerfs for cyclone
7:31 p.m. PST - WoW Insider folks heading off for the night. Relatively calm event compared to what was happening this weekend. More analysis on this over the next few days. Stay tuned!

Am I missing something? What's a stress test? Are they asking as many people as possible to log on and use emotes until the server breaks?

Just logged off.
Neth (undead priest) and Bornakk (orc warrior) spent most of the time hanging out in Eversong Woods. Drysc (tauren warrior) showed up there briefly as a giant treant, and then as Illidan, and then left the area to hang out with the Alliance, I assume.
Bornakk, Moo (tauren druid), and Optirens (troll priest), all extremely enlarged, then spent a while dueling players at the northern end of the Dead Scar. Bornakk logged out for the night and Optirens went to Durotar, and I logged shortly after.

I supplied a lot of pics (on request) to Alex so hopefully a few should get posted.
Good event but everytime a Gm came the amount of stupid spam on allaince side wanting mounts and all was sickining

had a lot of fun. saw manda around neth in eversong, you mighta noticed me popping me earth elemental totem a couple time. =) it was a fun night, the mounts the GMs gave out were pretty cool. over all i finished 4-5... NERF HUNTARDS

Why are they doing these Stress tests? Are they planning to merge servers in the future to counter the idea of "full" servers? Or is it to improve current situation *shrug* Im out in EU so a bit out of the loop I feel

I agree with johnny as I'm in england.this even started at like 1 in the morning i mean,yes I'm up then but,blizz rly need to do something for us over here as well,this is the one thing i hate about wow,the game is made by yanks so they get all the fun stuff sigh,tell you what blizz let eu test something for ones,
