Our server plays by the book, really. If it's a viable upgrade to your equipment, you Need it.If it's just something that you can auction off or give to an alt, you Greed it.If you don't want it or can't use it in any way, you Pass.Usually a person will ask if they can Need it first, but nobody really thinks it's necessary to ask. But if a person Needs on the very first roll of an instance without asking, they will be watched carefully for fear of ninjas.Other stuff: It seems like disenchanters are a popular choice on our server, but if there is one, they'll usually let us know when we start, so they can pick up things nobody needs to shard them. Also, treasure chests are usually /roll-ed on, but I've seen a few people just take them. If it's a locked chest, the Rogue usually claims it as his own.I'm a skinner myself, so if the area has anything skinnable, I'll usually ask if there's another skinner in the group, and we can trade off or whatever.

I'm having a tough time deciding if I want to keep Skinning and Leatherworking though... they have their benefits for a Hunter, but it's not the most profitable business, and I'm thinking once I hit max leatherworking I can just make what I'll need for the rest of my leveling [63 atm] and I can drop LW for enchanting... but I'm worried there might be some phat LW gear in patches/expansions that I'll be bummed about after leveling it this far already.I've been keeping blues I'm not using in the bank, for just such an occasion. I'm really torn...
