My guild follows the "if you need it, need it" philosophy. People ask if they can roll need.In most cases the enchanter picks up the item if everyone passes, but if I am tanking on my enchantadin, then it's a greed roll for DE so I can get on with setting up the next pull.People who roll need when they shouldn't don't get invited to run with me again. Same applies to non-enchanters rolling greed. Greed is for when there is no enchanter on the run.At the end of the run, the shards are rolled for by people who did not get a drop during the run. Top X rolls get shards.Patterns go first to the people who have the skill to craft the patter at the time it is dropped. Next priority are people who have the profession but no the skill. Otherwise, it's a greed roll.BoE is Need-or-Greed for normal main spec.Need is allowed on nethers only when the crafter is crafting an item for personal use (i.e. Primalstrike gear).
