Like most, we roll need if we need, otherwise roll pass, disenchanter rolls greed. It seems half the groups wait til the end to divvy up the shards, half want to pass them out right away as we get them. I prefer to wait until the end so if someone ditches the group early they don't get any. This line bothered be from the original blog..."Why should enchanters be expected to automatically be willing to shard gear for non-enchanters without compensation?"Umm.. cus you're in the group? Who in the group charges people for any abilities we bring to the instance? As a hunter engineer do i demand a tip when I throw a bomb, open a locked chest, or cable someone back to life? Maybe I should request tips on my priest simply for *wearing* my primal mooncloth set, cus she would be, wants to be, and enchanter but gave it up and leveled tailoring to max so i could heal better for the group. And then an enchanter in the group wants to ask me for a tip to DE something that dropped? I'd slap him/her. After I kicked him/her from group and put him/her on ignore list.Geez, just the thought of it makes me so angry... good thing I think this is just a blogger posing hypotheticals, cus in the 3 years i've been playing i don't think I've ever seen a single enchanter ask for fee for DEing during an instance run. Truly, it's a ludicrous idea.
