DoT sequencing is actually a bad thing, and I don't recommend people using it, since if the mob resists one spell, and you need to recast that one spell, you're quite screwed.Otherwise, good article. As a warlock veteran from beta (I remember when we were the easy kills in PvP!) I already know most of the stuff, but it's good for the newer masters of darkness, evil and stuff.

I have to agree that DoT sequencing can be a bad habit, especially for PvE Affliction locks--don't be tempted! Your PvE dps depends greatly on your ability to maximize DoT uptime, and because DoTs have different durations, there is no set sequence in which you cast them. You simply have to be on your toes and renew them as they expire.

Plus, I play an affliction lock so I DON'T just press one button 'til the mob dies.
