The gold isnt hard to grind and barter for, people grind for much less fruitful things.

A total like 20k might be 200 days for an average schooled grinder, like a 70 paladin in quest only greens and blues solo farming stratholme.

People that are amazed by the number really should look at how much gold people actual have as cash flow (er gold flow) and learn to save their money (er gold) better.
