Don't worry Matt, I don't see the appeal either. Although I was also a closet WoW player while I was still playing. WoW wasn't exactly something I bragged about IRL. They're a waste of money IMO. If you want to see your character decked in T6 or at some other point of progression, take a screenshot and save yourself a pretty penny.

$125 is only a big deal if you're unemployed. If you're unemployed, then I can understand you not wanting to brag about that. I cannot however understand why an adult would possibly fear keeping his hobbies hidden from other people. How insecure can ya get?

That depends on your personality. I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to spend money on useless/senseless things especially when there's a cheaper alternative.And I wasn't an adult when I was in high school. WoW wasn't the cool thing to do. Next you're going to say I'm a poser. No, WoW was really the only thing I was self-conscious about.
