Primals won't have a cooldown either? Only one I had heard was arcanite--is this in patch notes somewhere or was it just noticed on the PTRs?
I've found that Major Agility, Draenic Wisdom, and Super Manas are the BEST money makers in the game. Major Agi are a hunter's best friend, Draenics are used by our healers, and Super Manas are always necessary. I'm a big fan of my Mad Alchemist potions because I use them when I'm not learning a new boss fight (the added randomness makes it fun too). One bag is usually at least half full of pots for any run: 10 Super Mana, 10 Super Health, 10 Mad Alchemist, 20 Major Agility, 5 Flasks of Relentless Assault. Rumor has it our super mana users can carry up to 40 mana pots with them on raids. There's a good amount of gold to be had just by looking at the pots I carry.
Plus, with the improved drop rate of Fel Lotus, the flask market will probably reduce to a degree, but selling the discovered flasks is a great money maker for any alchemist.

Yep, whenever I'm making elixirs for sale on the auction house, I just farm the heck out of Terrokar and make Major Agility and Draeneic Wisdom. Nothing else sells as well as those two do. Major Mageblood sells okay, but the recipe can be expensive.
Also, if you're in it for the money-making, I highly recommend becoming an Elixir Master. Procs are pretty regular and they can happen all of the time, unlike Transmute Mastery, which is really just a waste of Primal Mights. Two runs through Black Morass should get you all the quest items that you need for Elixir Mastery.

Yeah, that was a mistake in the article, only the CD on Transmute Arcanite is being removed, not Primal Mights. (unfortunately)

I wouldn't say transmute mastery is a waste of primals. You recoup your costs (the 4 primal mights) in about 20 days assuming a 20% proc rate, which some have said is a conservative estimate.
It can be more profitable than the other masteries depending on how many potions/elixirs you will be making- if you're hard core and farming and pumping out dozens of potions/elixirs each day, yeah, the other masteries are better for making money-- but if you're more casual like me, and sometimes can only log in for 5 minutes each day during the week to do your transmutes, then it's a better choice when it comes to making money.
