Sure; there's a few. First up, by using the binder, it can actually show the name of the G key you've got bound to a particular action button as if it was a real key (so, for example, showing something like "G5" or "M2 G31" in the button.)
Also, the binder can use the keyboard mode in a few ways. It can attempt to put a border around the buttons that are active in the current mode, or use the mode to control which action bar page is active.
*Functionally* speaking, it's not much different. But I hope I've made it nicer and a bit more useful than the old "manually find 54 unused key combinations and bind them both in and out of game" system.
