WoW Moviewatch: Rock 'n' Troll trailer

I asked Kilh what the machinima would be about, and his description left me scratching my head. Apparently the Rock 'n' Troll plot involves a banker that dreams of being a rockstar whose raptor is stolen by evil murlocs that plan to brainwash the world. Did I mention the superevil mini-zombie-tauren minions? He's going for the cheesy 80s B-movie look and feel. I can't wait!

Anytime WoW Machinima has slightly heavy music they toss in L70ETC models. Have them doing something new "drinking a cup of tea, working on a farm" i don't know.
I will say though the part with the troll with the lawnmower got me laughing.
i look forward to the finish video and I'm sure its going to be a hoot.

Well that pretty much just pissed on the video quality of anything anyone else has ever put out. Best thing is, it did so for a purpose other than sheer after-effects 'how many filters do we have to put on this before people get distracted and forget it's supposed to have a plot and/or humor too?' wankery.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. If it's even half as good as that, then I think we can safely crown a new king of WoW Machinima.

The lawnmower is a homage to Peter Jackson's cult classic zombie movie Dead Alive. What? You didnt know that Peter Jackson did a zombie movie? And yes, I am refering to the Peter Jackson of Lord of the Rings.
Really, you need to go to imdb and check out and rent his earlier work such as Dead Alive (aka Braindead), Meet the Feebles, and Bad Taste (yes... the movie is just like the title)....
