We at WoW Insider felt that, in honor of Easter/Noblegarden, we'd go looking for some of the best Easter eggs in
Burning Crusade. This is by no means an exhaustive gallery of all the little nods you can find in BC; it's really almost impossible to go anywhere without running into a programmer's sly joke. I had to limit my gallery to things that could be seen by toons who'd outleveled some of the really good quest-related ones ("
How To Serve Goblins" was great) or who had ready access to the Blood Elf/Draenei starter areas.
Enjoy your trawl through a feast of cleverly-placed pop-culture references, and you can visit
BlizzPlanet for an exhaustive list of Burning Crusade Easter eggs if these whet your appetite for more! Don't forget that with our new gallery functions, you can hit the "Hi Res" button at the top right of the page if you want to see a photo in more detail.

Thanks. Great fun to read while I'm stuck at work on Easter.

This was fine - but severely lacking in "Slim" , which has to be my favorite of the NPC names.

It came down between good ol' Slim and my pal Action Jaxon for the last slot, and I went with Action just because he's a little more obscure and less likely to be noticed among all the NPC's in the Stormspire. But I have sold my pack contents to Slim many a time.

It seem you forgot about Mr. Mack Diver AKA MacGyver IMHO

Nope, "MacGuyver" was another one who just didn't make the cut, quite sadly. Which, rest assured, I am already regretting, as it was one of my mother's favorite shows and I am bound to hear about it.

Also there's a Captain O'neal (RDA's SG-1 character), standing next to him is Lieutenant Karter (another SG-1 character)

One of my favorite easter eggs in BC is the group of Draenei wandering in the Exodar - they're all named after Trill hosts of the Dax symbiote from Star Trek.

You missed Adam Oracle and Cringer (heman), also in shatrath.

And then there's the cooking questgiver in Shattrah: The Rokk.

Two of my favorites are Lady Keira Berrybuck and Baroness Dorothea Millstipe in Karazhan. The four original members of R.E.M.: Berry, Buck, Mills, Stipe.

Ask a guard in Shatt for the skinning trainer. He will send you to see Seymour, the Principal Skinner. lol (Simpsons)
Down in Lower City, the cook trainer is named Jack Trapper. (Jack Tripper = 3's Company reference).

There is an auctioneer in Undercity named Orly, and a goblin in the zepplin tower outside Undercity named hin denberg.
