We know that patch 2.4 is on its way, sometime soon. The World of Warcraft page has been updated and the background downloader has appeared. Many of us are itching to experience the Fury of the Sunwell. Tomorrow was the second most frequently projected date in our "Guess the release day" contest. As always, Blizzard says it'll go live when it's ready, but tomorrow seems likely to me.
The first thing I'm going to do when the patch goes live is check out the patch notes and see which changes were actually included, what's been rolled back, and what's been replaced. After that I'll be heading into Warsong Gulch to see if the developers have found a way to make the battleground experience a little better. I hope they did better than the promised debuff after five minutes of flag-carrying time.

The first thing I'm gonna do, is buy the sweet new badge rewards I've been saving up for the last month or so. My guild is still doing SSC and TK, so those items are really an improvement for many guildies.

Too bad your server has to unlock the vendor like anyone else.
You won't be getting those badge rewards for a little while.
You will be doing daily quests like mad to get more badges and unlock stuff.

So doing dailies will unlock the badge vendor? i tried asking my friends on the PTR but never got a straight answer...

Wait until Thursday, then download the update and all the addon updates. Just like I always do when there's an update. It's not like the servers will actually be working the day they release the update anyway.

Things I am looking forward to.
25 Dailys quests a day for 2 charecters = (My guess) around 350G per char (after selling the greens) per day giving me a nice stocktake for Wotlk
The new tanking Trinket from Heroic Mts
The changes to breaking CC.
What I am NOT looking forward to
Tons and tons and tons of people saying every 15 mins how did I get the new badge loot in /2
The server being down for the first 4/5 days after the patch
Nethers becoming Boe. now everyone will roll on them to sell.
There is a lot more but there the main ones.

Then its off to Sunwell Isle to start up some dailys and to see the sights!

First thing i am going to do is the night before log out at the ZA FP, the second the server comes up log in and fly to the Isle of Quel'Danas and be the first one on the server to get there...if not then def the alliance first. *i was first one on server into ZA*...its a little goal for me

I multibox 5 Shaman who just recently hit 70. I got all of their rep up on all 5 Factions who will offer the new "Beginner PvP Gear". I have every gem (including meta) in each of their bags, ready to go. Enchanting mats in hand. I'll be parked next to a quartermaster when I log out tonight.
As soon as I pick up that gear, gem and enchant them, I'm headed to start the Shattered Sun Rep grind. (That epic caster shield is too much to pass up!)
Boom
