My philosophy has always been that everyone should get something. For instance, in groups I try to make sure people who didn't get drops, get a shard. That way it makes it feel worthwhile for everyone.As far as raiding. On a raid I usually only accept one item, unless I'm the only person who can use it, if the content is newish. On old content we can stomp through, I'll roll on anything I can use. This philosophy has served me well and I think deferring to someone else scores me lots of brownie points.
