Lots of greedy people around it seems. Can't believe anyone would try and justify continuing to roll Need against people after having won an upgrade. Try selflessness, it goes a long way.We also follow an 'everyone gets something' loot system. This applies to everything from normal 5-man -> Karazhan. We set loot to Rare also, so we don't have to waste time rolling on greens - if it is on your body, it's your loot. As for drops, if you can use an item, roll Need. If you have won an item earlier in the run, don't be a greedy dick. If noone can use an item, it is DE'd and we use a raid roller to determine who gets the shard. The one we use supports user defined categories and keeps track of winners, removing them from future rolls until all members have received an item, whereupon it resets. I have macros for multiple categories, 'Shard,' 'BOE,' 'Chest,' etc. This makes the rolls quick and fair. It also means we don't have to waste time at the end of the run distributing shards.
