The basic idea with Beastmastery DPS is that you want to be weaving your Steady Shots in between your Auto Shots with as little dead time as possible. With about 1.7 attack speed and the proper macros, you'll be able to have 1 steady shot going off every 1 Auto Shot with almost no downtime in between the shots for maximum dps. You may need a few extra 10ths of a second if you have higher latency though.
