Magister's Terrace round-up

If you're like me, you'll be running the brand-new 5-man dungeon of 2.4, Magister's Terrace, as soon as you can. How can you not love a 5-man with four bosses borrowing elements from 25-man raids, a cutscene, and a guaranteed epic even on normal? - Videos of boss fights in the dungeon: the first shows Kael on normal, and the second has Selin Fireheart, Vexallus, video of the Sunwell cutscene, and then another Kael kill (sadly no Priestess Delrissa, although she's an add fight along the lines of Moroes).
- Adam Holisky takes us on a walkthrough, tank's-eye view, of the instance itself. This comes complete with a gallery of screenshots, which I've also included below.
- Tanks will find both offspec and main-spec gear drops in the dungeon, with one truly exceptional trinket dropping from Priestess Delrissa on heroic. Sadly, it's been nerfed, but I'm still going to be camping the heroic version until Delrissa coughs up my baby.
- Mike Schramm wonders how properly to abbreviate the instance, as we are adding yet another "MT" to the legion of MT's already in the game.
- Fun drops: The new phoenix noncombat pet drop off Kael'thas plus video! Also the Orb of the Sin'Dorei to disguise you as a Blood Elf, and the Swift White Hawkstrider!
- An Around Azeroth with a beautiful shot of a Kil'Jaeden mural inside.
- BAGS!: A 20-slot bag called the Sun-Touched Satchel drops off trash mobs (sadly, unique-equipped).

it probably will end up becoming "terr" as players cut out "magister's" and then start abbreviating the second word...

Anyone know what kind of gear you need to be in do do MrT? I'm just curious if it's Kara gear (T4 or equivalent) Eye and SSC (T5) or BT and Hyjal gear? (T6)

Are you meaning what gear drops or what do you need to go through it? For gear drops, normal has 70 5 man/ Heroics loot and Heroic has Heroics/Kara loot.
As for gear you need, I'd definitely rank it as one of the harder 5-mans, but maybe that's because everyone was just learning the instance. CC is a must for the place, as there are some 4-6 man pulls. I had a group that was partially SSC/TK (me), mostly Kara/Gruul's (Healer, Tank, and dps), and a S3 dps and we were having a bit of trouble, to the point where we even had to call the run. But there were some other "issues" than gear involved >.>
