I'm surprised that even after the fact that Nihilum has been openly caught using gold selling sites and buying gold that a reputable blog such as wowinsider is still giving them publicity. They may be the top raiding guild in WoW at the moment but if they buy gold, it really lessens their accomplishments and reputation with the people that are working hard at accomplishing boss kills the legitimate way.

Treos how about you stop trying to sound like you actually know something. If you had followed that discussion back then instead of just jumping the bandwagon you would know how that whole issue originated. What happened was that ONE PERSON from Nihilum wrote in their forum that he DIDN'T SUPPORT gold buying but that he could understand why someone would rather buy gold than spend time farming it. The rest is just baboons like you believing everything that you are being spoon fed...

Where was this exposed? I'm not trying to flame you, just curious because I'd be interesting in reading more up on this.

Hi Treos,I can tell you that no one in Nihilum has ever supported gamegoods ads on our website or gold buying for that matter. In fact, back then, all members complained and wanted those ads removed, our private forums were a mad drama. The continued complaints and uproar from Nihilum players was the reason that the ads were removed again. The thing is that Mousesports controlled our website back then and had Wazap (a partner of theirs) on duty for fixing ads on our website, and sadly they had gone along with something as stupid as gold buying ads. I guess that in 'business terms' it did sound like a "good idea". Obviously whoever gave the OK on this deal knew nothing about World of Warcraft. Having gold buying ads on a serious guild website is so insanely stupid that it makes me cry, it's like having aimbot/wallhack ads on a professional Counter-Strike team's website. We've stated to mousesports that we NEVER want to see gold buying ads on our website again, or else we'll leave their organization.Nihilum players will never support gold buying - ever.Regarding WoWRadio I can divulge that we actually have reestablished our friendship ties with them :)Best regards,Mark B.Nessajwww.Nihilum.eu

I have a correction to my former comment.I was under the impression that Mousesports' partner Wazap controlled the Ad's back then. I even asked someone from Mousesports (senior) about it and he told me that was the case.I've though now checked with the Mousesports CEO's and they told me that it's just a rumor, and that they never had anything to do with the Gamegoods gold ad plus that they were against having those on our website. In fact - and it shouldn't surprise you - it apparently was Awake who orchestrated those gold ad's on our website (They have the documents to prove it).Mousesports agree with both me and Nihilum that we should NEVER have Gold Ad's on our website, and they promised us that we never will EVER will have in the future.Best regards,Mark BNessajwww.Nihilum.eu
