As a gay man playing WoW, I am stunned to see that people actually put sexual orientation into cartoon characters. It's weird.

I also hate hering someone use 'gay' as an insult, but I hate seeing the term "retard" just as much if not more. For those of us either working with Special Needs people or with relatives or friends, it's much more hurtful to me. These peopel cannot help how they are, BTW. And neither can gay people.

As far as those saying sexuality shouldn't be in the game...being gay is not just about having sex anymore than being straight is. For instance, I'm gay, but currently not having sex as I write this. Even though I am really talented and quite limber, i'm not engaging in sexual activities at the moment...and yet I am still gay.

I just accept WoW kinda like I accept the real world. there are always going to be assholes insulting other people. And they're not always 12 years old either.
