Happy Birthday Badtz-Maru!

Today is Badtz-Maru's birthday! The ringleader of the XO clan was born on Oahu Island in Hawaii. Though he remains in the first grade, his dream is to be the boss of everything.While Bad Badtz-Maru could be a villain in Hello Kitty Online, it looks like he will instead be a Country Leader and quest giver. I am not sure if you will be able to join the XO clan, but you may be able to gain faction with it, depending upon how faction and reputation are implemented.
I am personally hoping for a roleplay aspect that is sorely lacking from WoW: that of being able to choose a side by actions instead of during character creation. By choosing to complete quests for Badtz-Maru and his friends, you may end up not being able to complete quests for Hello Kitty and My Melody. There is a small scale version of this when choosing Centaurs to befriend in Desolace, but it does not affect how any of the major NPCs react to you.
Regardless of his role in HKO, he is one year older today, so Happy Birthday Badtz-Maru! May you realize your dreams in the Flower Kingdom and beyond!

Oh geez...enough with the whining. All the bloggers were probably asked to come up with something fitting the April 1 Hello Kitty Online theme. I'm sure not every one of them lives in the eastern time zone, and was not able to have their column ready first thing this morning.
I think the whole thing is pretty damn funny. I guess the people here at WoW Insider thought more of you would have a sense of humor.

Newsflash Jeff - the entire internet is overdone. Everything gets overblown and goes too far out here - why should April 1st be any different? Go read a book, watch tv, or get hit by a passing semi - I'm gonna continue smiling all day because of the absurdly silly things we do for amusement, and the absurdly silly things you people get pissed off about.

I'm not desperate for any sort of format. I've been coming to this site for around a year now, daily, it's just part of my routine. I enjoy the game it's based around very much, and like to keep update on relevant information and all the fun, cool things (Around Azeroth/Build Shop/etc) and perspectives on my favorite pasttime this site offers.
That being said, I enjoyed the April Fools joke very much. I've also been awake since early this morning and caught the first one, the second one, the third one. the fourth one. . . etc.
Calm down, Alchem. My support network is well in place and intact, I'd just like to read some WoW related news. That's all. It's pretty simple.

It's not annoying because it's a break from WOW. It's annoying because it simply isn't funny. Poor execution or I dunno what, but it's just not working. In the mean time you're stabbing the RSS feed with a pink tasseled knife.
