HKO Insider Show episode 31 now available

The latest episode of our weekly podcast is now up and available for your listening pleasure over at WoW Radio (and it seems like Duncor's been messing with the show titles over there). WoW Insider's Eliah Hecht, John Petricelli sat down with me and "the inimitable" Turpster last Saturday and chatted, as usual, about the biggest news in the past week of Hello Kitty Online. On the agenda:- Lots of talk about everything to be found in the new Sanrio Magic Terrace instance, including Eliah's great writeup about all of the monsters and pet cards you can find in there.
- What we think of all the new daily quests on the Sunny Well Isle, including that one where you have to make a bombing run to pass out cupcakes to unicorns.
- All the unofficial changes in the latest patch as well, from the sound effect of Hello Kitty's gardening power to Badtz-Maru's new emote animation.

Agreed.
I realize the servers are still down, but I'm dying for some serious WoW content. Maybe an article listing the most-needed hotfixes? I'm sure people would have plenty to say about that!

Here... something WoW related. An Anecdote because I'm just not terribly amused by the Hello Kitty thing. I'm not trying to frown... I'm just not thinking it's funny. Don't sweat it though.. still love all you bloggers. I WANT TO BE ONE OF YOU FOR A DAY! Write some stuff!
Anyway.
Scarlet Monastery - Graveyard (lolwut?)
A group I play with regularly hit up SMGY (smuggy? smiggy? Smudgy?) and spent nearly three hours in there. "But WHY?" you may scream. Well, I wanted a torture poker (or two), and I also love the voice on Vishas. "I'll rip the secrets from your flesh!"
Plus, there's three rare pops in there that all offer something to members of the group. So we fought... on and on. Resetting when we could.
What did we get for it? Three snow-globes from the one official boss and a mantle. I was mind-bottled (hehe). We all leveled at least once in there, if not twice. And we got:
0 rare pops
0 Bloody Brass Knuckles
0 Torture Daggers
We all left thinking "Crap, it's no wonder why people don't play this place".
After patch 2.4 landed, Myself and my feral friend went back in there just to see if we could get a dagger, and to check for rares. Something was... different. Fast-forward a couple hours and we have:
7+ Bloody Brass Knuckles
3 Embalmed Shrouds
1 Ironspine's Eye
1 Ironspine's Fist
1 Ironspine's Ribcage
1 Blighted Leggings
1 Necrotic Wand
This place went from Interrogator Vishas dropping nothing (not even greens sometimes) to dropping Bloody Brass Knuckles all but one time. On top of that, on all but two runs, at least one of the rare guys was present.
Was this patch 2.4 related, or did we just have really really horrible luck the first night?

Generally it's not funny if nobody's fooled. I'm saving the picture from this particular article though, so it's not a pure loss. More Hello Kitty articles!
