Massive connection issues in raids tonight [UPDATED]
Based on my experiences, and a slew of other folks posting over at the Blizzard Customer Service Forums, it appears many Tier 6 instances are having issues with stability tonight. Half the raid or more is constantly disconnecting at seemingly random points.Several
Stay tuned to HKO Insider for the latest. Hopefully they'll hotfix this one right up.
Updated 11:00 p.m. EDT: Belfaire posted "We're gathering the appropriate info now. I have no ETA on a resolution, only that it'll be [fixed] ASAP." (April Fool's text removed for readability.)
Updated 12:44 a.m. EDT: Belfaire also let us know that Q.A. is working on the problem, though no fix has been announced yet. Seems they are at work on it.
Updated 1:00 a.m. EDT: Potential solution from Belfaire: "Please have your entire raid delete or rename your Interface folder and let me know here if you encounter the issue again. [One] group said that they ran without mods, but if what I think's happening is actually happening, even if one person has [an addon], it can affect the raid."

I can't get online with any of my charries. I D/C within seconds of entering the world. It really sucks.

It's not just a disconnection issue and it doesn't just affect tier 6 either. Our guild mass crashed three times during an SSC run tonight (once on trash before Hydross, once on Hydross, and once on Lurker). The client doesn't just DC like normal, you have to actually ctrl-alt-del and kill the wow.exe process. It's more of a program crash. Another guild was having the mass crashing during a Mag attempt at 9%. >.<
I sincerely hope this problem gets fixed soon. Often those who relog can't release from their bodies either. It grinds the raids to a halt.

That's a good bit of information, especially about it affecting instances other than MH/BT/SW. If I were you, I'd post it on this thread: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=5687440405&sid=1 I know at least Belfaire is watching it.

This happened to us on both Anetheron and Naj'entus. Extremely annoying. And yes, like others said it wasn't just disconnect, more like total game lock.

We had a couple of crashes on Steamwheedle Cartel against Naj'entus. They seemed to only happen during the boss fight and only when it looked like we'd get our first kill.

Yes, this kept happening to our MT and our shadowpriests all night long, and Omen sucks because no two people have the same version, and it makes people crash. I actually had to MT alot of it, though i'm only a tank for trash in Hyjal. Winterchill, Anetheron, and Naj'entus we had lots of DC's all night.

Don't get me wrong, I love addons too (well, roleplaying ones) but you have to wonder why Blizzard keep encouraging their creation then blaming them for everything that ever goes wrong.

Do we know if this is resolved yet?
