ok, what a crappy article. This is the kind of thing that WI's editors should throw back into the water. It reads like a 12 year old's class project. It's comprised of ridiculous implications (the bit early on about the engineers outdoing the enchanters on weapon enchants for example) and redundant listings. If I need to know which mats are needed for which scope, I'll look it up on thottbot. Please, wowinsider editors... We want articles from people who really know the game. We don't want articles by people who want to be "writers" and really have nothing to write about. Sorry if I'm coming across as harsh, but there's some good stuff on this site written by a FEW good people, and I enjoy this site very much. This, however, is crap.

Get off your high horse, child. If you're so horribly anal and unimaginitive that you can't realize the article is intentionally poking fun at the one-dimensional use for scopes than you seriously need to step outside and enjoy some fresh air every once in a while. C'mon, now. It's a video game. It's supposed to be /fun/. They post completly humorous and often times poorly made fan videos on the site every day, recipes for "WoW food", Roleplaying articles, and a fan comic. Why aren't you hounding those? Because you had to read this and it didn't help you to get off with more WoW information? From here on out, ignore all of his articles, won't you?

Thanks for reading, Vendrill, sorry to disappoint. Hopefully next week's column will be more to your taste. More Theoretical Engineering to follow!

Wow.Someone obviously capable of managing to make things humorous writes and article about scopes. This article even shows the evolution of how engineers make scopes and their usefulness along with managing to be very fitting for how engineering feels when doing it and you go off like a 5 year old that didn't get a cookie.GO look it up on thottbot. Please. And while there, enjoy people telling you they can make the scope and on which server. That's obviously more informative than an article which got all the scopes and their mats in one easy to find spot. The fact that he covered the issues with possibly the bets engineering scopes (difficulty in getting to MC, drop rate on Kara one) was important to letting people know the drawbacks to these items.Scopes aren't exactly the most important part of engineering, but they are one of the only parts that MAKES money. A lot of people sell them so it is nice to have the info on where the next upgrade for them is.
