From what I hear the caster neck (Scryer versions) Prot is bugged and has a really low prot chance compared to the Aldor version. Which really makes me thinking of grinding Back to and reroll aldor.

@Spiritofire:
Just an FYI, the word is "proc". It's short for Process, a term that came from the MUD days, when an item might have an ability that requires processing from the server. Lag would sometimes cause the process to be delayed, resulting in phrases like "That took /forever/ to proc!"
Not trying to be a jerk, just thought you might be interested in the etymology of the word.

I agree that it's programmed random occurrence. I've never heard the "process" version, and I was a MUD developer for years. We always said proc for Programmed Random OCcurrence. :)

It's always been "process" to me. I started playing MMO's back when they were called MUD's. Everyone on EQ in the early days said it meant "process" too.
